Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, county, state, or other lookup detail into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Grant County Inmate Population does not store those search terms on its own server logs as a separate inmate-search record.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read, route, and answer it. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Like most websites, this site may collect routine technical data when pages load.

This site links to public jail rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, MyCase, INjail, IDOC, SAVIN, VINELink, and outside search services. Indiana public-records access may involve the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code 5-14-3, but once a visitor leaves this site, the destination website's own privacy notice and terms control that visit.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and serve interest-based ads. That tracking occurs through the partner's technology, not through a jail or court record hosted here.

Personal information is not sold as a separate customer list. It may be available to limited service providers or legal recipients when needed.
